I feel like the media wanted Obama to say he's in charge just so they can blame him more when |
|
it all goes wrong.
There is no left leaning media. They're all in it for themselves. Right now Fox and the nuts is where the money is and they dictate what's covered.

1. I still wonder exactly what all these complainer want Obama to do? |
|
He's very intelligent, but he's not an engineer; he's not an expert on oil drilling; and mo human can dive that deep & survive or they'd probably want him to do THAT! To hear James Carvile screaming that he wants the Prez down here in La. to tell the people he cares is flat out BS! Is he looking for a Father Figure? Apparently! Obama's job is to get the people who work for him to do their jobs, and I think he's doing that. This is a very unusual situation where almost everything that's being tried is trial & error. NOBODY knows what will work. Should Bp ever have been given the OK to drill that deep? I don't think they were! Several times I've heard that they went deeper than they were authorized to do.
The US needs to adopt several of theings that are already mandatory for drilling off the shores of other countries. Drill an emergency offset well at the same time you drill the main on, just in case something goes wrong. ALWAYS install an accoustic shut off valve, even if it IS expensive!
All that said, the fault lies with BP & their buddy Cheney who told them the accoustic shut off was too expensive and they didn't HAVE to use it. It's not Obama's fault, even though he's not responsible for fixing the mess YET AGAIN!
Obama's NOT your Father, folks! He's you President and he's doing the best job possible.
