And Speaking of Sestak, He Just Jumped 14pts Among Independants
With that kind of a bounce, who cares what he said.

PA-Sen: Joe Sestak leapfrogs over Pat Toomey

by kos

Fri May 28, 2010 at 08:01:04 AM PDT

Research 2000 for Daily Kos. 5/24-26. Likely voters. MoE 4% (5/10-12 results)

Joe Sestak (D) 43 (40)
Pat Toomey (R) 40 (45)

That's quite the primary victory bounce, +8 points. Where did the numbers shift?

Sestak Toomey
Democrats: 76 (73) 8 (11)
Republicans: 6 (4) 82 (84)
Independents: 35 (30) 35 (44)

Sestak enjoyed a net gain of +6 among Democrats, +4 among Republicans, and +14 among Independents. That'll do the trick.

3. You mean all the mediawhores whining about
the unpaid job offer didn't cut any ice with those who don't want a teabagger for a Senator?

8. Just another thing the corporatemediawhores had
to play out to see if it stuck because the Obama admin is so different from all the others that did the same thing.

9. He always polled better than Lincoln against Toomey.
For that I am glad he won the primary.

11. Toomey + Massey Energy = Dead Miners
Didn't I read here that Toomey was in the pocket of Massey Energy? If so, then the PA Dems need to keep pounding away at that. It'll play well in the "Alabama in-between" areas where there are still lots of coal miners, and they don't want to vote for any Democrat. (No slam against PA here. I grew up in Pittsburgh, and know that people there get more conservative the farther out you go from the cities.)
