'Shocked-shocked that politics is being practiced by a White House."-Chuck Todd on MSNBC to Andrea Mitchell regarding Rahm's offer through Clinton for the offer of an unpaid advisory position to Sestak to not run for Senate.

3. Chuck Todd is slimey, but he is far from being a political idiot.
He can act like an idiot when he wants to push a certain meme, but he knows the difference between starters and non-starters.

8. MSNBC pushes every meme, even ours. They are all over the place.
I guess in a way, they practice their own fairness doctrine. I think Chuck Todd pushes whatever he wants to push. Don't get me wrong, I'm always interested to see what he has to say because he has a keen political mind when he isn't interested in carrying water.

saying wasn't really true but he wanted to make himself look more important and "mavericky." I say that because when Joe Scarborough asked him if he was offered the job of Sec. of Navy, he didn't deny it and said yes in his rambling answer, leading Joe to believe he WAS offered that job. Then after that interview, he refused to come out and say yes to the direct question if he was offered the Sec. of Navy job.
