"The great right wing conspiracy" is alive and well.. and we will be the victims |

When Hillary talked about a vast right wing conspiracy.. she was speaking truth to power.
By now we all know the tactics of Rove, the hatred for Clinton from sources in Arkansas.. and Clinton did not help himself.. but that vast right wing move to unseat him was in progress long before he messed himself up with the Lewinsky matter.
Well they are at it again.. they have been trying to find something to impeach the President with since day one.
And it is not about even getting him impeached.. it is about keeping the country and the congress, executive branch etc so tied up with the daily "news" about the matter that they can accomplish nothing.
In the end, the victims of this "vast right wing conspiracy" is not the elected official.. it is us, the voters.
I hope we can push back enough to stop it this time.

Anti-Obama, whatever the subject, has bitten the right and made them rabid. They say stupid things and don't even care that they look like fools....as long as the crap gets out to the masses they keep right on talking.

They almost bleed from the eyes when they talk about President Obama, the hatred is so deep, and they have succeeded at this before.. that is why they keep trying and trying.. with not an ounce of shame about what they are doing

3. Hillary was correct about the VRWC |
|
She just conveniently left out the part where the DLC was a willing part of it.

4. It's not just about tying up Congress |
|
The GOP is haunted by what used to be known quaintly as an inferiority complex -- and that means they're constantly trying to build themselves up and tear the Democrats down to their own level.
On one hand, they try to inflate a mediocre second-rater like Reagan to the status of a Roosevelt.
And on the other hand, they kept trying to hound a Democratic president out of office like Nixon.
It's never going to work in the reality-based world, because the GOP really is mediocre and corrupt on a scale never known to the Democrats. But because the GOP deals in hollow symbols and not reality, they keep thinking that if they can just plaster Reagan's name on as many monuments as possible, or can just subject Democrats to trumped-up impeachment charges, they've established an equivalence.
And they're going to keep doing it forever, because there is a hollowness in their own souls that can never be filled.
