1. Would anybody really be shocked to discover these folks are on Halliburton's payroll?
Over there blowing things up and shooting innocent people to keep those lucrative government contract dollars flowing in. :eyes:

I wouldn't be shocked. Not at all. :tinfoilhat:

2. Anyone who has not seen "The Power of Nightmares" really should do so.
Edited on Wed Dec-02-09 02:48 PM by Sebastian Doyle
Whatever "Al Qaeda" actually is, was created by Poppy Bush's CIA for the purpose of fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan.

What they definitely are NOT is an "international terrorist network". That does not now, nor did it ever, exist.

6. From The Power Of Nightmares
Adam Curtis' superb documentary series on the rise of neo-conservatism and fanatical political Islam. It should be required viewing.

All 3 parts are on Google Video.

If you have the time there's another Curtis documentary series called The Trap, also on Google Video (and helpfully available as an mp4 download) which is well worth watching.

12. Does anyone remember how it was supposedly OBL and the
TALIBAN that attacked us??? Then a couple/several months later it morphed into AlQuaida, and suddenly we heard NO MORE about the TALIBAN...now all of a sudden, the TALIBAN is being mentioned more and more, and AlQuaida is fading into the background, or being exposed as not being real..I have asked for the last 8+years, to no avail...how that name change came about originally...I have asked the question many, many times, and no one has answered the question yet...wb
