A Life-Long Democrats PLEA to Democrats in Power (Sherrod)
This is aimed specifically at Congressional Dems and those in the White House.

Rank and File Democrats (you know, actual voters) have been calling the Democratic Party weak for years now. DU used to get sooo pissed off when the Party caved time and time again to the Bush Administration on a number of issues. There was always an excuse back then though. "Oh, we don't have the White House." "Oh, we don't have a majority." Well, after a year and a half of the Obama Administration and a sweeping, historic win in 2008, I'm asking the Party this...what's your excuse now? Tell me WHY you've given in more times over the past year and a half than seemingly Congressional Dems did during Bush's entire 2nd term? The FACT that they've won and the ReThugs LOST in 2008 doesn't seem to have registered yet in the White House. The Democratic Party in their knee-jerk reaction to Sherrod's "racist" comments has exposed a VERY serious problem not only in the Obama Administration, but in the entire Party. These guys are WEAK! No, I don't mean that in a joking sort of way. I mean literally WEAK...like punks and pushovers. Maybe expecting them to stand up to Wall Street is anticipating too much...akin to waiting for the Second Coming or something. Do they have ANY clue how their supporters view them after this? Do they even care what we think? Or just FAKE News and Glenn Beck? And from the "street" this looks like the worse concession this administration has ever given to the Right.

I BEG the Democratic Party and WH...PLEASE listen to your voters wants! For once! I tell you, I'm the type of voter who believes my vote should be earned, and not a given. I'm a Democrat, but I'm not wasting my time going to a ballot box to vote for people that pay more attention to Right-Wing provokers and propaganda than me. That's the problem with politicians now, they know they can get away with stuff because they count on their sheeple to be loyal drones and vote regardless of how much they've screwed their supporters over. I'm not one of those voters. So until the Democrats show some balls, they can count me out until further notice. And I'm not alone, after all...that's Democracy. When a politician doesn't do right by his/her supporters...they don't show up. And it looks to me like the Democrats are destroying everything they built up in 2008. The magic is gone. The more and more these Sherrod-style incidents pop up, the harder Democrats are making it on themselves when it comes to re-election.

2. Vilsack, is not the Democratic Party, nor Obama.

He acted alone.

Maybe your letter would be better received if you would base it off of evidence, and not the RW spin.
You complain about "The Democratic Party, and the WH" buying RW propaganda, when there is no evidence to support your insinuation that they did something wrong here. But yet, you have bought the spin that they knew.

Edited for spelling

3. Oh so...firing a woman because they were afraid of Glenn Beck is not
"doing something wrong?" If not, then what is?

4. Yes Vilsack did something wrong
but not the "WH or The Democratic Party"

Vilsack fired her alone, through Cook. The White House, had nothing to do with it, nor the Democratic Party.
This is an extreme broad brush, but I can't say as I really fault you, because that is the RW spin, through the media.

5. You don't get the point of the thread
Reading comprehension not your strong suit? The Sherrod incident is just ANOTHER example of Democrats willingness to give in to right-wing pressure. Whether it be Vilsack or whoever.

6. I did comprehend, tell me where in your OP
you laid the blame, based off of facts, on Vilsack? Nowhere did you mention his name. You laid it at the WH and the Democratic Party, which is a broad brush.

9. You'll never see facts with your head buried in the sand.
This is a pattern of cowardice. Remember Van Jones? ACORN?

The news reports talked about "calls from the White House". Vilsack doesn't live or work there. But, a lot of Republicans that call themselves Democrats do.

As for Vilsack, he was the Chairman of the DLC, a wing of the Democratic Party (unfortunately), before this stint.

Glenn Beck! BOO!
