A difference between Repuklikans and Democrats
My father voted Democratic in every election since at least Truman. I'm not sure whether he got to vote for FDR or not. He like many Democrats I know will vote and then if the candidate wins will find fault only later to think that he was really good - especially during a R'puke's administration.

Repukes on the other hand always stand by their man. Bush could've had a 4 way with his daughters and KKKRove and they'd shrug, "Boys will be boys!"

My hope is that my fellow members of the Democratic party will be like my Dad, may he rest in peace, and realize that our Reps, Senators, and Presidents may be slow to act on our will they really are our best hope- cause the pukes are our worst nightmare.
Link below got me thinking of Dad- Thanks kpete, TexasProgresive

1. So I have basically only had two Dem Admins in my life
And I sure as hell learned from the Clinton years that all of my wants and disappointments relating to Clinton, thus causing me not to support him in his second term is exactly what the 'pukes hope for. I will give myself a pass and claim youthful stupidity.

My gut feel is it ain't the youth turning on Obama.
