2. Too Liberal? LOL! At best there very similar to Obama: Center/Leaning Right.
The two are definitely not liberals. They read more like center (with tendencies to lean right).
Obama is clearly no progressive and my guess is he wanted someone similar to himself....mostly down the middle.

3. The Republicans will just for Democrats to filibuster (real ones) or they'll use the "nuclear option

to impose their control over the Senate once they also control the White House.

They play hardball.

Most Democratic Senators throw their hands in the air and surrender to Republican demands.

And they call that governing!
