Olbermann hints criticism of Gibbs, if any, will be mild tonight on Countdown
Edited on Tue Aug-10-10 04:50 PM by 30rock
He tweets, "There will be neither fire nor brimstone in tonight's Special Comment, because I do not disagree with Mr Gibbs' right to criticize. " http://twitter.com/KeithOlbermann/status/20826161149

3. Not good for division... true.
Good for party unity, however.

6. Agreeing with the "right to criticize" doesn't sound good?
Are you worried that Keith has become assimilated? Turned into an Obamabot?

:eyes:

8. Just worried that KO might gloss over Gibbs' past work as a hatchetman
Democrats can disagree with each other without using Bush-style tactics like Gibbs used against Howard Dean in 2004.

4. He is the speaker that represents the White House on a daily basis, so, it's rather nasty for him to
say the leaders of the progressive movement need DRUG TESTING!!!

How much money does he make to insult the people who really pushed through such Democratic victories the past 4 years?

What an assy move.

7. Uh oh. I hope Keith didn't wake up with a horse's head this morning.
"Yes Mr. Gibbs. It was all a misunderstanding. Of course I will stop criticizing President Obama. What time does my flight leave? Why do you ask?"

Disclaimer: The above dialogue is fictional and does not in any way represent a conversation I believe really happened. It was only an attempt at humor. Haha. Get it, Mr. Gibbs? Humor? What's that? No, I'm not planning to fly anywhere... Yes, drive, but... Now, seriously, no one takes anything I say seriously, Mr. Gibbs. Not even me. Really, there's no need to bring my daughters into this, is there... What does Agent Mike have to do with...

Second Disclaimer: I hope Keith Olbermann has learned his lesson about criticizing President Obama, may his divine name forever illuminate the Heavens. May I introduce you to a friend of mine, Mr. Agent Mike.

9. Ok, everyone let's turn on Keith and call him a hack and demand he get
fired. How dare he not be up in arms. Some in this crowd need to put down the pitchforks because you forgot who are the real monsters.
