Angle: 'There's Nothing Wrong With Our Health Care System'
Sharron Angle is reiterating her opposition to the new health care reform law -- and saying that there is nothing wrong with the American health care system, and that access is not being denied.

From Angle's interview with the local ABC affiliate in Las Vegas:

"I think we get confused a little bit. Our healthcare system is the best in the world. There's nothing wrong with our healthcare system. Our doctors are the best," says Angle.

"But how many people get access to the best healthcare in the world," asks Action News reporter Marco Villarreal.

"The access is not what is being denied. It is the cost that has become prohibitive and that's what we need to address," she answers.

The TPM Poll Average gives Harry Reid a lead of 45.1%-42.7%.

2. It's good that Reid's pulled ahead of her, but why is she still even competitive in this race?
Are there that many Nevadans who don't mind having a head case as senator?

3. Access really isn't being denied? So when people are denied coverage, that's just imaginary.
The insurance company actually decided to cover that procedure. You must have been high on LSD or something.

7. The problem IS the access, loony bin!
The Dems and Obama tried all last year and part of this year trying to make access easier. I mean, really...

9. "The access is not what is being denied. It is the cost that has become prohibitive and that's what
Technicly she's right - and if she were speaking of jewels or another luxury product it would make sense. (ie Tiffany does not deny "access" to anyone wanting to purchase their rings, but the cost is prohibitive to many people.("The access is not what is being denied. It is the cost that has become prohibitive and that's what we need to address) What she misses is that health care is different - and the goal (that many here thing was not 100% achieved)was to make the cost not prohibitive. A follow up question on what she would support to make it affordable is needed. The point is I doubt she would be for anything that would help.
