ALL Democrats need to decide on Crist or Meeks. Unfortunately, it won't happen. They'll cancel each other out.

5. We have both houses of Congress and the Presidency, and we always lose? |

I'm not trying to be negative; just pointing out the truth. I know many Democrats in Florida that are going to vote for Crist. If Rubio has close to 40% of the vote, then Crist's support would have to fall below 10% for Meek to win.
Do you honestly see that happening?

10. Why? No one has given me any evidence that Meek's chances of winning are better than 10%. |
|
I would much rather have someone that votes with Dems 50% of the time, than a Republican that votes with Dems 0% of the time.

3. Meek has been hovering around 12-17% for months in a 3-way matchup.. |
|
It is hard to imagine any scenario where he can build his numbers high enough to win... imo.

I for one will be voting for the Democrat in the race. Why is this even a question? We have a former Republican, who at best would be a Joe LIEberman in the Senate and a full out loon Repuiblican. This is not a tough decision. I am going to do everything I can to help get him elected.
I am starting to wonder if all these people saying we should vote for Crist are really working for Rubio. IF all of the Democrats would vote for the ONLY Democrat in the race...it would be an easy win for Meek. I do not trust the polls at all. They had Greene beating Meek just weeks ago, but magically, Meek STOMPED Greene in reality.
I'm not falling for it.

Sincerely or insincerely. I have been here for a while. I just don't post all the time. This vote for Crist stuff is just really mind boggling to me.

12. Because voting for Nader sure helped keep * out of the WH. |
|
Rubio is * on steroids... I don't want him anywhere near the Senate. I'll use my Democratic "purity vote" when the consequences aren't so catastrophic.

14. No, the reality is Meek probably can't win... |
|
Sadly, I can see the arguments for voting for either Meek or Crist, and unfortunately this means the left will split its vote between the two and likely mean a Rubio win.
The only real chance to keep the seat out of GOP hands is if Meek drops out. He probably won't, and I don't blame him. Crist won't drop out either.
At least we have a great chance to win the FL Governors seat. If we manage to lose that race against a corrupt healthcare CEO, well, it will be a total disaster of a November evening.
