Glenn Beck regrets calling Obama a ‘racist’

http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_upshot/20100829/pl_yblog_upshot/glenn-beck-regrets-calling-obama-a-racist

Fox News host Glenn Beck said Sunday that he misspoke last year when he characterized President Obama as a racist.

"I have a big fat mouth sometimes and I say things," Beck said during an interview with Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace.

Beck last year accused the president of possessing a "deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture," during an appearance on Fox News, adding, "this guy is, I believe, a racist."

But this Sunday, when Wallace asked Beck if he regretted making those comments, Beck responded: "Of course I do."

1. I say what you say. Beck only regrets it because it cost FAUX some ad revenue. nt

5. If That's True...
why did he say the words "over and over and over again" when referring to Obama's racism.

This guy is a self-serving whore. You can't take back such hateful words.

6. He misspoke?

Beck is a liar.

This was the conversation:

BECK: "This president has exposed himself as a guy over and over and over again who has a deep-seated hatred for white people ... "

Here Kilmeade tries to save him from himself.

KILMEADE: But listen, you can’t say he doesn’t like white people. David Axelrod’s white, Rahm Emanuel’s his chief of staff, this, I think 70 percent of the people we see everyday are white. Robert Gibbs is white.

BECK: I’m not saying that he doesn’t like white people. I’m saying he has a problem. He has a, this guy is, I believe, a racist. Look the way, look at the things he has been surrounded by.

He not only did not misspeak, he further went into the weeds even when Kilmeade tried to through him a rope.

I'm tired of these guys floating trial balloons of hateful statements and then trying to claim they misspoke. Misspeaking is something entirely different. The only misspeaking he seems to have done was when he said "I'm not saying that he doesn't like white people. But he cleared that up soon enough.

Why is anyone paying attention to this narcissistic attention whore?

7. "Regret" is always the word that is used in a non-apology apology
Also commonly used by corporations in legalistically written letters to dissatisfied consumers.
