I would like Obama to hold a nationally televised prime time news conference |
it's been a long time, hasn't it? I think he really needs to begin responding to all the nonsense the GOP is pushing like "the stimulus didn't work"--we know, but how many regular people know that an independent report showed that the stimulus has thus far created 3 million jobs. I'm glad and it's proper that he is speaking on Iraq tonight--but for the election he needs to talk about the economy and his accomplishments--and highlight what is going right and draw a distinction between what he has accomplished and what the GOP would do if they took over congress.

2. He can control the news conference. He can also have a strong opening statement |
I'm as strong an Obama supporter as anybody, but they have not done a good job of getting their message out.
