1. I voted "They won't start... " |
|
Because I'm quite sure it's already in the works.

3. I agree with JuniperLea. |
|
They are already calling for impeachment and that is what will happen if the house is won by republicans.
I check out the news on yahoo all the time. You would not believe the comments section. The article this morning detailing the new oil rig explosion had numerous people claiming it was a conspiracy by environmentalists and President Obama calling for his impeachment. Truly. And not from one poster but from many. The world has gone insane. Take care everybody!

My sister said there was a tent set up near her office, with a big sign that said, "Impeach Obama!" and a guy was taking signatures. This was in Orange County, CA... a very red area of California. It sickens me.

They can't do it immediately because they'll look like opportunist assholes and they know it, plus it'll take a while to trump up some baseless charge against Obama. Expect something like "We the House find President Smellyface Obama should be, like, impeached and stuff because he's a black Negro and we don't like Negroes."

13. Thank you! Why doesn't the OP add an option with an "N/A" because Democrats will work to |
|
get out the vote?
This is why Democrats lose all the time. Why even post a shitty poll like this?
Get the fuck off your asses and get out there and work to get people to the polls!!!!

6. They will begin investigations immediately. |
|
But the idea is to string it along, take as long as possible so they can get all the investigations a full airing on friendly media. Every day, a new gate will hit the news. They day they actually begin proceedings is irrelevant. It is the process that they want, because they know they Will never have the Senate actually convict him.

The only ones I can come up with are "PWB" (Presidenting While Black) and insisting he has the right to ride in the front of Air Force One. I'm sure the Repugs are putting together a Christmas list of crimes he has committed since he was a zygote.

16. Your last sentence is spot on ... |
|
They will investigate every corner of his, and Michelle's life. They will investigate every associate they ever had.
All the have to do is find ONE person to make an allegation from their past and the game begins. Whitewater, Paula Jones ... it will be the same, but different.
Maybe Tony Rezko ... an old friend from indonesia, crazy distant relative. They won't need something that is true, just something that the stupid will believe. And they will use that as a distraction as they again raid the treasury.

14. Guilt really doesn't matter one bit... |
|
Look what they did to the Clinton's while Bill was in office. They were constantly embroiled in legal defense of accusations that were never even close to the truth. They don't need no stinkin' high crimes and misdemeanors to start their big stink.

18. For not showing us his birth certificate! And for being Muslim (which really means for being black) |
|
That's what they'll do, impeach Obama for something stupid like they did Clinton, just because he's black and they want to de-legitimatize his presidency by throwing a stain of impeachment on it.
Besides, if conservative talk radio starts to demand for Obama's head via impeachment you know they'll have to cave in, with all the GOP politicians who have been forced to apologize to Rush Limbaugh for daring to criticize him, some of them have even been primaried out of office over attacking conservative talk radio gods like Glenn Beck, despite having a very conservative voting record.

30. David Limbaugh has drawn up the articles of impeachment |
|
His "Crimes Against Liberty" has a set of impeachment articles proposed against Obama. And its being pimped by the Screw York TImes.

succeed as the VP would simply take over. Personally, I think it would backfire on them. And what they really want is to merely tie things up until 2012.

|
Obama has not started any new wars. Obama has not lied in court about his sexual peccadillo's ala B.J. Clinton. Obama has not tortured enemy combatants or any body else.
Nope...no impeachment coming.

28. They will make one up. |
|
Make no mistake about it! The Republicans WILL make something up to impeach Obama on and their pals in the Whore Press will beat the impeachment drums and whip up the lynch mobs. Right now Limbaugh's brother's book outlining the case to impeach Obama is going up the Best Seller list on the Screw York Times. The right is already drawing up articles of impeachment over Sestak, health care, Van Jones, ACORN and Sherrod. And I'm sure 19th Century Fox will be going into full lynch mob mode the minute the Republicans win in November.

20. Really? You think we could get THAT lucky? |
|
The last time they spent their effort on trying to impeach the president, they made that president incredibly popular and did poorly in the following elections.
If I could count on them doing that, I would go out and vote republican just to insure that the democrats would have REAL fillibuster proof majorities in 2012!

23. They will start it right away |
|
No doubt in my mind that they will start with thousands of subpoenas over everything Obama has done. They will vote out articles of impeachment as soon as they can, sadly if they get to that part, enough Blue Dogs will join the chorus to drive Obama out of office.
Then they will go after Biden.

And its why we need to remove the Blue Dogs from the Party, if you ask me. They are nothing more than right-leaning mercenaries.

27. Keep pushing for Real Democrats! |
|
I love how the Whore Press keeps attacking us for backing real Democrats while the incumbent DINOs win some primaries. We came close with Bill Halter, we almost knocked out Benett the Buffoon, and Alan Boyd. but we DID get Jack Conway nominated in Kentucky and we retired Specter. And Bland Blanche is on her way to doubling her salary as a lobbyist. We cannot give up and go away. We got to keep the pressure on these DINOs and knock them out!
