Taxcuts are right out of the Republican playbook...
We have had taxcuts up to our keisters. That is one of the major reasons we are so far in debt at this time. So, why not try some more?

1. If it was up to republicans.....
republicans and corporations would never pay taxes. They would make that the burden of the poor and Democrats.

2. I think it's the type of tax cuts that make the difference.
Extending tax cuts for millionaires isn't a good idea, because millionairs, despite what we've been told by the GOP, don't create jobs. We had 8 years of tax cuts before the economic collapse of 2008, and there weren't enough jobs created during that time to warrant the cost of the tax cuts, and it they certainly did nothing to prevent the recession.

However, if you offer employers tax cuts for creating new jobs in America, that might be helpful. Or cut taxes for middle Americans on part of their income, that would give them more to spend and that would help everyone.

The millionaires aren't spending the money they're saving, that's obvious. However, those who live hand to mouth will spend every extra penny they have. Of course, you must have a job to get tax cuts on your income, so that won't have as much of an impact for a while.

We need to find an incentive to get employers to start hiring people again. When that happens, things will begin to turn around quickly. Employers have the cash to do it now, they just don't want to do it. They need an incentive to create jobs.

6. employers don't need incentives, they need demand
same amount of money going to tax cuts, put it in direct spending: hiring and payouts. Get better stimulus that way. It's going to tax cuts for political reasons, not economic reasons.
