This President actually can ride a bike.

and so can this first lady!

Man Obama! You sure can eat! How do you stay so thin?

Oh - that's how you keep your boyish figure!

Still Cool after all these months.

When is the last time you've seen a President go grocery shopping?

6. Malia is 5'9"?!?!
(just clicked on your link) How old is she again? She has quite a few years of growth left, right? If I remember correctly, Michelle is 5'11", but Malia will probably be taller (not necessarily a good thing for her, I am 5'10", did not always enjoy it...)

5. Very fun pictures, but
WHy isn't he wearing a helmet? Asked 20% seriously, a rather precious head that I would very much like kept in good shape, selfish me.

17. I saw several biking pics in which he *was* wearing a helmet, so
I think these may be anomalies--perhaps they are not yet setting out for the actual ride.

24. Good to know I'm not the only helmet-nazi.
One of my friends killed a guy in a 5 mph, two bicycle, accident, so I'm a bit touchy on the subject.

9. Yeah, he definitely should
be wearing a helmet if he's riding a bike.

What's so wonderful to see is how he goes out and does normal things, like buying an ice cream cone and paying with cash no less! for a purchase in a store. And he sits in the middle of a crowd for something or another. It looks as if he's not losing his sense of who he is just because he's surrounded by the Secret Service and a lot of security.

10. "Forget the economy" Yes! Because pics of the president are going to improve your situation ......
and feed your family.

I am glad he takes time to enjoy his family, but the economy is going down faster than the titanic. But you know, since the titanic is going down, take the time and rearrange the deck chairs. At least it will look good while it's sinking.

16. Try looking at the ones with his kids. That should lower your blood pressure a bit.
If you want a monastic in the White House, try Jerry Brown. During his first term as California Governor he tried the super-modest "I don't need no mansion" lifestyle and it didn't exactly work. But you know, at least he didn't have a wife and growing children to try to keep on a healthy basis with.

Those girls need a Dad, and going to an amusement park or eating shave-ice isn't exactly up there with Marie Antoinette's lifestyle. Really. He gets a salary and he has to pay for his vacations out of that. The Secret Service comes with the job and even if he stayed home all the time we'd still be paying for them 24/7.

I'm sorry things aren't going well for you, but whatever your relaxation method of choice is, I hope you're doing it. Your local Dems are probably hosting a Labor Day picnic this very weekend.

19. The President has improved the economy.
You owe him your thanks. Not that I expect you to own up to it.

21. I don't owe him crap. He's done nothing for me ............
I've been going on two years without a raise, but in the meantime prices have steadily gone up. I've watched as one of my fellow employees lost his house because the bailout did nothing for main street and everything for wall street. I've seen my insurance premiums go up nearly 20% after the passage of the so called health-care "reform" bill. I've watched as my town has laid off police and fire department employees due to budget costs. I've seen schools in neighborhood get rid of music and arts classes in public schools and sent the money to charter schools in an attempt to get "race to the top" money.

So, while you tell me that I "owe him thanks", I say you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about when it comes to reality of what this country faces and how much Obama has failed to deliver on the MAJOR changes that he promised.

25. Oh, so you still have a job.
You owe him thanks for that.

You know, if you were serious about the economy, you'd be attacking Bush over it, and thanking Obama.

But you've got it backwards.

So I don't think you're really serious.
