1. Folks are gonna be pissed big time about this.
Considering the media has been working overtime to get him as far below of 50% as possible,
this is gonna leave a mark. Expect the mediawhores to act like pit bulls that much more
till November. :scared:

4. Wolf is gonna be shouting the words on his teleprompter very loudly......
That's not gonna bode well for anyone listening without the volume turned down super low,
or like me, those who no longer bother to watch cause we know what the deal is with
these whoredom corporate asshats.

Edited on Fri Sep-03-10 02:28 PM by Beetwasher
And we're starting to see the turn around. It's all in the timing and Obama's is demonstrably impeccable.

21. I've been thinking the same thing for a while.
Polls taken three months before an election mean almost nothing. If they did then Hillary would have had an easy path to the Democratic nomination. Obama will campaign more during the next two months and turn the tide in key states.

7. I'm not surprised- every time I start to worry about the poll numbers...
Remember ups and downs during the campaign - there were some pretty big dips and disaster periods during those months. Think of Rev. Wright. The media did its best to bring him down. And-- in spite of it all- Obama not only won, but he beat the Clinton machine. He stayed focused- made a few mis-steps at times, trusting some not so wise advisers-- but he pulled through. He's going to do the same with the mid-terms. This election is too important for getting his-- and OUR agenda passed. If we loose the house and or the Senate, we'll be stuck in a gridlock for the next 2 years-- and buried in bullshit investigations they will launch to further impede any progress. Way too much at stake here.

But that's not to say it's going to be easy- and we ALL need to help out and get involved and make sure that everyone we know votes. We need turnout- even if people aren't thrilled with the Democratic candidate-- not a time to be complacent.

8. This is big news
Thats a pretty significant jump and gives him a very decent lead compared to almost president of the past 30 years at this point in their first term. I really hope this sticks.

11. It is a jump indeed; don't know about "significant" though
Edited on Fri Sep-03-10 03:25 PM by DrSteveB
This 3%/month jump is good news for Obama and Democrats. Let's hope this is reflected in other polls as well.

Maybe it's only a very few like us who think Wolf and his band of fucking idiots like Gergen and that troll John King and his Redstate moran pal have any real influence on the voter. They just yowl and yap for each other methinks. Meanwhile people are paying attention to what is affecting them positively and directly, not listening to those

ASSHOLES

19. They will be doubling down.
At least they can rest assured that some Democrats will help them
as much as they can, by continuously focusing on whatever negative
they can pin on this President, while ignoring the Republicans altogether,
throughout the election season....then if they get their wish,
they'll come back and gloat right here, and dog the President some more.
It's what they do.
