1. People keep referring to how abysmal Reagan's numbers were during his first

term -- and I don't think Obama's have hit that low, have they?

And.... "they" always say that when the times are tough, the incumbent party suffers, so aren't these numbers kind of par for the course?

Looking for that silver lining...

3. I am hoping that pollsters will be set on their ear.

I will believe the results on election night. Not numbers spun from opinions of people who still answer the phone to unknown callers.

I don't, except for push-pollsters. I always give them such a hard time that they hang up on me.

5. I don't answer the phone.

If I don't recognize the number, it goes unanswered. And I'm certain I'm not alone in this.

I was polled once when Clinton was still president. They wanted to know what I thought of Al Gore.

10. My son has called me a couple of times from a work phone

that came up as unknown caller. And my husband has done the same thing. We don't know why this happens once in a while. So, if I am expecting calls from them, I have to answer. If I answer and get some idiot, it is all I can do to remain civil.

6. I got polled the other night

It was in CA. Lots of questions, about Obama, Boxer, Fiorino, Whitman, health care, the economy, the Tea Party, etc.

On a scale of 0 - 100 how do you rate _____________. I gave the Tea Party a big fat ZERO.

9. Polled Last Week , It was About "massive debt"

it was so long and the questions all sounded the same and convoluted is was a grueling experience. My impressions, they were looking for more ways to trash Obama.

Next week, expect another "Do you think POTUS is a Muslim poll. I suspect they will do them weekly until they achieve the magic number of at least 99% who think Obama is a Muslim.
