Tea Party movement threatened by internal rifts
Could not happen to a nicer :sarcasm: group of people

http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/12/07/tea.party/index.html
Washington (CNN) -- It emerged in anger and it threatens to split in anger.

One major group in the Tea Party movement -- named after the famous Boston Tea Party -- is set to host its first convention in February, with former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin as its keynote speaker.

But there are fractures in the movement that threaten its future. And if history's any guide, such movements tend to flame out.

1. Wha?
I imagine the split is most likely between the Bat-Shit Insane Posse and the Crazy as an Outhouse Rat Brigade.

7. That sucks -- too soon. We need them to siphon off voters from the republicans
in coming elections.

14. Well, Here's the problem:
The movement is comprised of people who just hate the government, but also has pro-huge government, give-the-Corporations-everything Bushies who think Reagan and Bush were gods walking upon the earth. Each side claims that their ideas are the purpose of the movement. The Bushies think that Sarah Palin is god, are stupid and ignorant, and some of them want our country to become a theocracy. The two group's ideas contradict each other so much that the movement will fall apart. Good riddance.
