Peeking down the Memory hole.
Edited on Sun Sep-05-10 01:26 AM by FrenchieCat
The Media has been on this narratives that the GOP would kick Dem ass for no less than an entire year. Considering that Obama's been President for less than two (20 months), that means that 8 months into his Presidency, it was predicted,
and then discussed, again and again and again.....to this day.....
that Democrats would lose big in 2010.

The Tea Party that *suddenly* became the talk of the Media as though the media
was trying to literally grow that (bowel) movement have been talked about and promoted
very aggressively by all of our media...... for no less than 18 months at minimum.
which is not more than a couple of months, if that,
after Barack Obama was sworn in as President on Lincoln's Bible.

Origin of the Tea Parties & Media Biases : NO QUARTER
Apr 16, 2009

http://www.noquarterusa.net/blog/2009/04/16/origin-of-the-tea-parties/
(here, no quarter promotes them as a non-partisan group expressing outrage :puke: )

The boogie-man stories on Barack Obama being a Muslim or not a citizen and just an all around scary person were around all throughout the 2008 campaign, and therefore have been pushed longer than this President has been in office. Initially, the Media wouldn't discuss those lies....but they do freely now.

I believe there's a reason for this media narrative, and it has little to do with what Pres. Obama
has been able to or unable to accomplish.....as it is true that he has accomplished much more
positive than he is ever given credit for, and is easily blamed for anything bad that
happens....whatever it is.

1. I give President Obama much credit for doing as well as he has.

Not an easy environment to get things done, and he still gets things done. Just like many other Democrats and some Republicans.

When things are tough, fight in the middle of the street, it puts same pressure of cars zipping by on both sides, and the better side handles it better.

Also why this song rocks.

2. Even CNN and MSNBC campaign for Republicans.
Edited on Sun Sep-05-10 01:36 AM by Radical Activist
The fact that they're more subtle about it only makes them more effective at fooling Democrats. We have to be aware of this fact. Good post.

3. CBS and ABC does too.
In fact, I can't think of a single media outlet who doesn't
campaign for Republicans in their own special way.

4. I used to think ABC was the last national news organization with reliable integrity.
But that was when they still had Peter Jennings. Before Disney and Jake Tapper finished killing it off.

5. Yep. Not much of anything Left anywhere....
Although I do like that show "In the Know" that's on PBS on the Weekends.....
wonder how long before they turn?

Do you think it is the Bush Tax Cuts that is fueling this (What I call a)
conspiracy to have the Pub take the shit back? I'm thinking that this is
important to both corporations and the Newspimps' wallets.....

and at the end of the day, it is always all about money.

6. It's all a result of the conservative long term strategy.
Step 1) Cry media bias until liberal viewpoints are effectively censored from the press.
Step 2) Cut funding to news organizations so that even those who watch news won't be informed.
Step 3) Profit!
