Poll question: Gingrich proposes that Congress declare the WTC site a national battlefield. Would Dems vote yes?
Newt apparently said this on some right-wing radio show during the week as a method to stop the community center.

This is the kind of crazy shit that will come with Speaker Boehner's gavel.

Next year, would Democrats answering to Speaker Boehner vote yes on this?

3. Considering the Burlington Coat Factory is two blocks from the WTC,
I'd say the Dems should let the Pubes have this one just to make them look like idiots.

5. Keith tore him apart on that, but I think that his 'idea' would include the surrounding area.
I wouldn't be surprised if it ended up being half of Manhattan.

The question is would Dems go along with this?

Would they vote against a 'national battlefield?'

6. Then the site of the Oklahoma bombing should be declared the same, since it was the policies of the
repukes who incited that behavior that occurred in Oklahoma

12. Kind of hard to call it a 'battlefield'
It's not like two sides were shooting at each other. Even at Pearl Harbor, we shot back.
