When Democrats retain control of Congress, what will be the reaction?
There are going to be a lot of pissed and shocked people, specifically the GOP and media.

AP headline: Speaker-in-waiting Boehner balances GOP factions

The consensus is leaning toward the historic trend of massive losses during a mid-term among the President's party. If that doesn't happen, how will the media pundits spin it?

1. Much whining about a "stolen" election, finger-pointing, blaming the media, circular firing squads

2. I have no clue...but I'll turn to CNN to get the spin first hand.
FOX News will only focus on the meager wins of Dems.

3. While the Republicans shouldn't count their chickens before they hatch
Neither should we. That being said, I don't think we're finished yet. If we pull it out, I'll be eager to see the Republican meltdown.

6. Not only could the democrats keep both house, they could make gains...
And the media would spin it that the democrats are still weak because the republicans were able to keep them from gaining even more seats.

8. Here Is what could happen
Come October MSNBC will start saying Democrats could keep Congress.

If Boxer,Murray,Feingold, and Reid all win Democrats keep the senate.

Remember the Likely voter screen assumes many Democrats won't be voting that It will be mostly Republicans and Independents.

CNN hardly a Liberal organization has poll with Obama at 50 percent approval. It also shows Obama's wekaness Is economy but Iraq,Afghanstain, and terrorism pluses.which means Republicans would have to talk about Economy.Even CNN has had poll saying
the public would approve of Tax cuts on the wealthy being reapeled.

Newsweak which again Is hardly a Liberal magazine has a generic ballet which Is tied.

Democrats have shots at winning governoships In California(I still don't think you should write Jerry Brown off) Texas,Florida,CT,and
Minnesotta.Plus keeping them In New York(Pretty much a Given) MA,and Colorado(again very likely)

Republicans have to keep all their seats(Including the one In hawaii they won because of split Democratic vote and the Willian jefferson seat In LA) keep all the open seats because of retirments(Including the Castle seat In Delaware) and then pick up 39
Democratic seats.Remember In 2006 Democrats won 30.Even back In 1982 democrats when reagan was at his low point only won 26.If Republicans only pick up 25-30 seats they lose.Pelosi remains speaker, and they can't investigate Obama or repeal anything.

This Election Is not over with.As for senate remember Despite being targeted In 2006 Republicans keep TN,and Arizona. And In 2008
keep KT,Miss,and Georgia.

11. And their complaints would probably actually...
...get media coverage and be blown out of proportion (unlike in 2004, when they ignored everything).

16. There will be civil war.
After all their racism, name-calling, threats, and propaganda, the only alternative would be to declare civil war against the illegitimate government of the United States. If you don't want that to happen, you had better let them win. They are desperate.
