4. There was no such speech. It never happened. |
|
I know this despite the evidence of my own eyes, because I read DU regularly.
Because I read DU regularly I know that a tool of the banking and insurance industry who's bought, sold, and just killing time until he can draw fat consultancy and speaking fees after his one term can't actually be saying things like that.
So it didn't happen.
Couldn't have happened.

16. What are you talking about? |
|
Obama gives the best speeches around. He is as good an orator as I have ever seen. And thats obvious as well as uplifting while he's speaking, and he often speaks extemporaneously, something his predecessor couldn't do even if he knew what the word meant. I became an ardent Candidate Obama supporter because of a speech he made about racism.
I have no problem with his speeches. I have a problem with his followup.
If you're going to have a problem with those of us who feel we have valid criticisms of the way Obama has governed, at least get your story straight.

the MSM is pretty skewed. According to them, everything bad that happens is bc of Obama and everything good is in spite of him.

18. It's what he does today that matters. |
|
The speech was great. If he follows-up today to get his cavalry lined up, if he gets a little mean and lets the usual Democratic defectors know he's willing to cut them off at the knees if they defy him, we might just have a chance.
Nobody has ever questioned the President's skill as an orator, he might be the second-greatest ever after a fellow Illinois native.
