1. IMO it is really stupid of them not running with this instead of running away.
If they highlight what has happened and what will be happening it would help them.

2. Democrats are such wusses
The liberal media has scared them away from using one of their best weapons in this campaign.

3. Because the real issue is that the republicans want to destroy social security and medicare
the republicans want to remove all regulations which got us into the financial crisis they created since reagan. The republicans do not want to extend unemployment benefits or help American car companies. republicans want to destroy unions, and insure that the rights to privacy are invalidated

The CORPORATE MEDIA, would like to divert attention to what is most important on people's minds now, and that is jobs and the economy, so msnBS, there is a reason that HCR ISN'T being mentioned, because you and corporate sister WHORE station cnBS, pushed the repuke propaganda that deregulation was good, and that the economy and stocks were doing just fine, until it blew up in your corporate faces, and proved that you misrepresentation of the facts, just like your reporting are bullshit

They would love to control the internet, and only if the repukes win would they have that chance

7. I will not say that "all" Democrats are running away from it, but some are ..............
From NPRs Morning Edition:

Senator BLANCHE LINCOLN (Democrat, Arkansas): I'm Blanche Lincoln and I want to show you what it's like in Washington these days.

INSKEEP: I suppose we should mention: we've got kids fighting in a kindergarten at this point.

(Soundbite of ad)

Ms. LINCOLN: This is why I believe against giving more money to Wall Street, against the auto company bailout, against the public option health care plan and against.

INSKEEP: Blanche Lincoln, conservative Democrat, emphasizing the times that she didn't vote with her party. But, Bill, can I ask about one statement that she made there, when she said I voted against the public option health care plan.

they should have done something to curtail the premium increases that are being implemented.

Everyone knew it was going to occur.
