Prediction: Media analysts are going to be very surprised in November.
The Great Recession will lead to an anomaly in midterm performance for the in-party. Not a gain for the Democrats, but not a great loss like has been speculated.

I don't have any proof. It's just female intuition, I guess.

The Recession is GREAT for a reason. The GOP's positives are not high enough. A fickle electorate needs to be reminded why they're not in power, over and over again. That's what I see Obama starting to do now.

2. I'd like to see Chuck Todd go home early on Nov. 2
with a nasty little tummy ache from eating too many GOP shit sandwiches.

3. I agree, I don't see how any sane person would want to
vote for the crazies in the gop. (the gop doesn't deserve capital letters anymore as do any of it's members.)

4. Women's intuition?
Sorry, I need something a little more concrete. Most people's awareness as to the cause of our present economic situation is limited. They just know that in the time Obama and the Democrats have been in control, things have not gotten noticeably better..in fact, for many, they've gotten quite a bit worse. I really see no reason for your optimism.

7. You are too optimistic
Facts are stubborn things. The enthusiasm gap is large and it exists. We might not want it to, but it does. We are in trouble this election, and it is going to take every democrat and every liberal and this country coming out and volunteering and getting motivated to change things. I still have a lot of hope and I think there have been some good signs over the past week, but reality is reality. I will be doing everything I possibly can to help support my dem candidates in the coming months and so should everyone else.

I repeat, we will not win unless all of us sacrifice a little bit of our time and energy and VOLUNTEER.

8. I think you are right
I dont think theres enough distance from the disaster yet for pukes to regain control. I dont think it will take much to refresh those memories and if they keep attacking I think the dems can hold the line.

I heard a reporter on the radio talking about her headline that pukes could win the senate and she based that on harry reid likely losing....That was her foundation for her argument. While harry isnt popular here in nevada his competition is batshit crazy, he got a gift from the tea party here and he will retain his seat. I see that as probably playing out the same way in other states.... Rand paul for example he may be polling well this momewnt but I dont think people are that far gone yet.

We will see.

9. Media analysts are always surprised in November.
This is so true that when media analysts are not surprised in November, they find THAT surprising.
