1. The really galling thing is |
that they are going, while the Senate Democrats may be unable to leave because the GOP is filibustering everything on the healthcare bill. They are "no"s - so not voting is equivalent.

2. Hopefully, Harry Reid will make good on his threats |
He said he'd hold session over the holidays to get a bill passed if he had to. I hope these clowns tick Reid off enough to do just that.

There is nothing noble that the Republicans do - ever.

8. You missed the point - the only ones that would have to be there |
for repeated votes are the Democrats. The Republicans can take turns if they want.
ie - Inhofe can go to Copenhagen, but unless Reid is sure that the votes for the days he would be gone are enough without him, Kerry, who has positively added to this, really can't go. The fact that they are working weekends, means he can't even do what he did at Bali. Then between the last vote of one week and the first of the next, Kerry spent 40 hours on commercial flights and 36 hours lobbying people in Bali. Even the Bush administration told the SFRC that his work was essential to getting the agreement in Bali.

3. I say let them; their ignorance will be on display for all to see. Also, |
the rest of the world will witness what the President has to contend with over here.

and represented the people of the USA in foreign lands...What an embarrassment he was!

5. AND when several democrats toured |
Iraq, did not give opinions, did not ask to set policy, just toured Iraq, (Hillary was included) the republicans wanted them tried for treason. What in the hell should we do with Inofe. I say give em to the people who found cheney his undisclosed locations. Maybe they might loose him in one. Wouldn't that be "lover--ly".....
