5. I was about to say the same thing...

.... well, lol, not using those same words of course.

Remember (to everyone else) .... Eikenberry initially was opposed to sending more troops because he didn't feel like we could fully trust the Karzai government. That assesment (I believe) resulted in a shift in strategy that (again, I presume) will result in a weaker central government with power shifted to the tribal leaders.

We shall see.....
