1. Good. It looks like his slide has ended while still in safe territory. k&r |

And he's regained the 50% line (no... he's not an incumbent, but is as well known as one).
Shouldn't have to worry about this race.

2. Healthy lead for Blumenthal, above 50%, good favorables. |
|
Some pretty weird things would have to happen for Linda McMahon to be the next senator from CT.

4. She runs a lot of commercials |
|
on NYC television stations, and she's really pushing the "I'm just a normal person" thing pretty hard. It remains to be seen how well the sell job is going, never underestimate the ability of a promoter of 'professional' wrestling to stimulate weak minds.

11. Blah! I live in Connecticut and am so SICK of those commericals. |
|
The woman is like fingernails on a chalkboard. Annoying and has no political experience. Blumenthal is well known and liked, he has been the AG here since I was in the 9th grade.

9. Those aren't good fav/unfav numbers for McMahon to build on |
|
It's probably not a good sign for you if you're running in a democratic leaning state with a 50/50 split on favorables, while your opponent has a 62% favorable rating, especially if it's a year that's supposed to favor your party.
I don't see how McMahon builds on those numbers to pull off a win, and that's not even taking into account Rasmussen's republican tilt.

13. That 44 percent of Connecticut voters think McMahon |
|
is an acceptable excuse for a public servant is in and of itself disconcerting, but on the other hand, the arithmetic suggests that this seat will stay blue.
