3. I think it is
O'Donnell is IMO totally unelectable in DE. Delaware is far too blue to elect a fucking nutcase like her and I don't think the pukes can get her under control.

5. just wondering....
when she wins in the general will that be "going our way" too? I am sickened by the idea that totally unqualified people will be elected just because there is a black man in the oval office.

7. I think Nate Silver put her chances at 17% in the general election.

Edited to add link

Whereas he put Castle's chances at 95%. So I think this is a good thing.

8. I think she will lose the general. PPP will have a major poll tomorrow showing Coons with a big lea
and she will have a hard time winning over Castle voters I think.

10. If she wins the general we
have far more to worry about than the GOP, it would mean that we are on our way to a fundamentalist regime.

6. Our way...hmmmm
Unless the fascist wins in the GE. In a year like this, I would not count out that possibility.

12. It's possible
but nowhere near likely. Mike Castle was as good as elected Senator, why else would the GOP establishment dump millions into his campaign to defeat this whackjob fundie.

Delaware is not a red state and Castle was only electable because he was a moderate puke, a moderate puke that Mitch McConnell would easily keep under his thumb but still a very moderate puke.

13. Beautiful, just beautiful
That's one Senate seat the Teabaggers have definitely lost. There's going to be a fight in the Republicans after the midterms how much the extremists cost them.

from 30% to 15% (especially if Ayotte also loses to the teabagger in NH, which is happening so far).

25. Nate Silver
I disagree agree with him on Republicans likely to take the House.Obama IS averging 46 percent approval(In some case a bit higher)
Back In 1982 with Reagan at 42 percent approval Democrats won 26 seats and In 2006 With Bush around 36 Percent Democrats won 30
seats.Republicans have to keep all their seats(Including open seats) and then pick up 39 seats.Enthusim Is starting to Improve among
Democrats. In Gallup the defecit has gone to close to 30 to 18.But Nate Is right on It Is very unlikely Republicans can win 10 seats.
Delaware Is a likely Democratic Retain now.And NH the chances of a Democratic pickup Is Increasing.

16. The best part is we can use the GOP's own words against her in campaign ads here
It tends to be much more damaging in campaign ads when you quote someone from the person's own party that you're attacking, and the GOP has attacked her for the following.

-Unpaid tuition fees
-Not paying campaign staffers and vendors in her 2008 campaign, while illegally using campaign funds to pay for her mortgage.
-Called 'unfit' to even be elected dog catcher of the state of Delaware
-Called a 'fraud' by a former campaign employee of her 2008 campaign, who also accused her of just trying to live off of campaign contributions rather than promoting the conservative causes she claims to champion.

Yeah, we've got LOTS of great ammo from the GOP to use against her.

17. NRSC characterization of O'Donnell that should be repeated often
WSJ

Brian Walsh, a spokesman for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, said Monday that a "disturbing pattern of dishonest behavior" by Ms. O'Donnell "has not only given the establishment pause but a lot of conservatives, as well."

22. This is a golden opportunity for Democrats.
The Democratic party needs to attack O'Donnell intensely, relentlessly and constantly and link her to all other Republican candidates across the country and the entire Republican party. O'Donnell needs to be made into the face of the Republican party. She needs to be made into the leader of the Republican party. Every Democrat running for any office needs to paint the Republican opponent as a supporter of O'Donnell.

Republican candidates who support O'Donnell will drive away some decent human beings who ordinarily vote Republican and Republican candidates who reject O'Donnell will drive away the Scrotal Warmers.
