Poll question: *** POLL *** Democrats, do you envy the Republicans? |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-15-10 04:29 AM by smalll
So by nominating O'Donnell rather than Castle in the blue state of Delaware, the Republicans have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Any chance of taking over outright control of the Senate this year is gone.
But then, the Republican party primary voters in Delaware went ahead and did that. Despite the fact that their masters told them not to. Despite the fact that the party in general stood against them. Are they shooting themselves in the foot? Yeah, sure. But rank-and-file Republicans don't care about that; they don't care to count votes, all they believe they know is that RINOs exist to be shot down. And they have the power to shoot down every RINO they see.
So the question is, Democrats, do you envy them?

1. You could get a job working for a push polling firm. |
|
You sure do have a talent for it! :)

7. Worst thing about DU is the "push-poll" whiners, Just sayin. |
|
It is a POLITICAL site, where people try to make a POINT. Push-poll's are a part of that.

2. What good is Ben Nelson? |
|
Ben Nelson is no better than a fucking Republican. And that is mighty low in my book.

5. While I do agree that your wording is quite push-poll |
|
You still bring out a very important truth. The tea partiers have actually worked and organized to get their candidates on the ballot, we need to learn from them for two years from now.
The thing that will be helping us is that we'll be running progressives in races to defeat a tea bagger who won this year.

9. The TeaParty is a Frankenstein's monster ... created by the GOP |
|
strategists. They built this monster using GOP corporatist money ... they thought they could control it, but they can't.
And now it threatens to destroy their party.
Good.

6. Other: Don't forget that the Tea Baggers themselves are funded by rich |
|
fascists behind the secenes - they are NOT the grassroots movement they like to think they are... I'd love to have the Democratic Party scared of us, but not at the cost of being manipulated bu yet another gang of rich crazy kingmakers, which is something else the GOP is famous for...

8. The Dems could use wns by O'Donnell and other teabaggers to split the GOP in half. |
|
All we have to do is vote. Another round of loses would destroy the GOP.
