GM to repay 58 billion
So Obama saved GM, saved who-knows-how-many-jobs, and now the money is coming back.

The first step to mending General Motor’s dilapidated public image: Repay the $58 billion in federal loans that saved the automaker from collapse.

“No. 1, I think that we need to repay the money that we borrowed,” said Mark Reuss, president of GM North America, on a conference call Tuesday morning. “We also want to make this country and North America, proud of General Motors, its employees, its products, its dealers, and we want to do that fast."

11. Yeah. I was against it. I couldn't wrap my head around not helping them.
That's millions upon millions of workers.

3. They've only stated that they need to
they aren't actually doing it.

Our most recent "Payback" of our support of GM came in the form of the Volt and Cruze transmission lines going to Korea.

12. Last month, GM said it would begin making quarterly repayments later this month.

General Motors Co. is considering repaying the balance of its government loans sooner than next June, Chairman and CEO Ed Whitacre said today.

Last month, GM said it would begin making quarterly repayments later this month. The first payments will be $1 billion to the U.S. government and $192 million to the Canadian government.

8. Yeah funny how "loans" were turned into "handouts" but the President's own party.

The progressive whiner-wing of the party allowed themselves to be led around by the nose by the ever-despicable Arianna Huffington.

Now that the economy is climbing out of a very scary recession less than one year later, and the banks are repaying their TARP loans with interest, in addition to large dividend payments, we haven't heard a word about that from that from Arianna, have we?

Last time I checked, "handouts" were not paid back. They were gifts to be kept.
