DE Senate: Biden in DE today to appear with Coons
TODAY – HOMECOMING: Vice President Biden travels to Wilmington Friday afternoon to campaign with Democratic Senate candidate Chris Coons, in a clear sign of the White House’s new enthusiasm for the Delaware Senate race. Coons’s campaign announced: “Coons will be joined by Vice President Joe Biden, to greet and speak with volunteers from the Delaware Democratic Party's Coordinated Campaign … This event will be closed to the public.”

5. As long as Joe keeps it in New Castle County
Joe is loved in New Castle County, he's ok in central Kent County and they abhor him in Sussex County.

The good news - New Castle has about 30% more voters than Kent and Sussex combined.

13. This is be so wonderful if Delaware could get a
Dem to win the seat that VP Biden vacated..courtesy of the deranged teabaggers.

2. Finally! After what seems like hundreds of threads about O'Donnell being a clown...
someone posts a positive Coons thread.

(and of course it sinks like a rock)

4. Smart move to reenforce Coons early
GOP handlers must be working overtime to re-image O'Donnell. Good to draw the contrast now between the candidates.

9. I cannot believe that a state that has repeatedly sent Biden to the senate will
elect a nutcase like McDonnell. Ain't gonna happen.

10. Delware seems to have a very reasonable moderate electorate.
I just don't see the majority warming up to McDonnell, she is simply too loony. And with Coons, he reminds me someone of how Joe started out. Joe was merely on the New Castle County Board before he ran for Senator. Coons is on the same board and is actually the county executive on it.
