Survey USA: MN 6--Bachmann: 49% Clark 40%
In an election for United States Representative from Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District today, 09/16/10, incumbent Republican Michele Bachmann is elected to a 3rd term, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted exclusively for KSTP-TV in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Today, it’s Bachmann 49%, DFL State Senator Tarryl Clark 40%. Compared to an identical SurveyUSA poll released 2 months ago, little has changed: each candidate is up 1 point. Under the surface, there is offsetting movement: Clark has reduced slightly Bachmann’s advantage among men and among Independents, and has gained ground among voters over age 50; Bachmann, meantime, is now even with Clark among women and has increased her advantage among middle-aged voters.

1. baffling
Downright disturbing.

WTF is wrong with the Sixth District?

They must be even dumber than Michelle herself, which is hard to fathom.

2. On the other hand if a poll came out about a democratic congressman under 50% and leading by only 9
the media would be saying, "Another pick-up opportunity for the GOP"--why not with Bachmann?

4. The 6th District in Minnesota is 95% white.

It's also the area where last year that one crazy lady refused to hand out Halloween candy to anyone that supported President Obama, remember?

Interesting how, after it was redistricted, it has gone squarely to the Republicans.

11. That race is not worth looking at
If we couldn't make it a close race in '06 or '08, this cycle will be double digits, probably 15
