Courtesy of the GOP, a blockbuster of epic proportions -- just in time for the November elections:



Unlike in the movies, this hostage crisis won't be solved by a sweaty bomb squad detective deciding whether to snip the red wire or the blue wire. It'll be solved by someone from Democratic congressional leadership stepping up to the plate and following President Obama's strategy that we move forward on his middle-class tax cut proposal even as we debate whether to extend the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy. The question is: will they take action before it's too late? Or will the the tax cut issue blow up in their face?
