Obama's Palin Dilemma
Hmmm. She doesn't deserve the attention; do you think she should get it?

Obama's Palin Dilemma

Marc Ambinder notes that while President Obama continues to use "Speaker-in-waiting" John Boehner as a foil to rally Democrats for the upcoming midterm elections, there is someone else that would make a much more effective target.

"That person is Sarah Palin. All that's required is for the President to utter her name a couple of times. The Fox-Rush-Redstate nexus would explode. Palin would bask in the attention and respond. And respond. And respond... Yes, the election is about control of Congress. But at a larger level, it's about competing visions of the world. John Boehner v. the Democratic agenda is a boring contrast. Many Democrats couldn't tell a Boehner from a Cantor. But everyone knows who Sarah Palin is."

3. I don't think Pres. Obama should give her that power
Right now she doesn't hold any title of political importance. She thinks she is some anointed one, but as wacky as Christine O'Donnell sounds, she sounds better than Palin when she speaks. Palin better look out, or her adoring fans will latch on to the new kid, imo.

4. Exactly. It would enlarge her importance. She should be treated
like the insignificant little nothing that she is.

5. all he has to do is give one zinger, at the right time,
then just ignore her and all the braying idiots that will be beserking.

that would make them nuts. the dismissal, the unimportance of their baby feet stomping.

6. No.. Because the MSM would spin it as the president is going after a woman.
The POTUS has to thread lightly when attacking Palin.
