1. Maybe they figure they won't be helpful since the Dems can use them to point

out where the problems began not what is needed to reelect Republicans. It is better for all involved to keep a low profile imo. Republicans would want to keep as much distance between themselves and the mess of the Bush Administration as possible. There is not one positive accomplishment that they can point to after 8 years in office.

and awfully quiet, but you haven't a clue what he's up to...you just know it ain't good. I also have a feeling these off-the-wall candidates are more of a diversion than serious.
