My rant to some Republican family members who live in Delaware
There has been some dialogue on just how O'Donnell got to where she is and I felt the need to just lay it out...

Hello all,

As we have seen, the bomb throwers on 24/7 news on both sides of the
aisle have polluted the political discourse this country needs and will
probably never have any time in the near future.

Consider the AM/FM radio shock jocks (who oddly are college dropouts and
untreated drug addicts) like Hannity, Beck and Limbaugh who have been
leading the charge for dingbats like Palin and now, O'Donnell.

Consider the usual Fox News Republican Channel with its level of
distortion so transparent that Fox News viewers believed that Iraq
attacked the US on 9/11 and that all the hijackers were from Iraq. Based
on what happened there, we should have attacked Saudi Arabia since 15 of
the 19 hijackers were from there. Fox News embraces the Tea Party
movement and all their lackeys on staff are too cowardly to ever cross
that drug-addled gasbag Rush Limbaugh's path.

The Murdochian template of distortion and innuendo has seized nearly every newsroom department and real
journalism has been seen as a "weakness", "too wonky", "too
complicated"...

Why should we be shocked that people have Obama Derangement Syndrome and
think he's a Marxist, a Nazi, Muslim, a communist or even "hates
America"? Some former drug addict college dropout theocratic former
shock jock told us so.

It's like no one is patrolling the school playground and letting the
punks rule the turf. But it sure is entertaining for the
civics-challenged populace.

The more ridiculous the accusation, the better the viewership and higher
ratings. Now the more insane the candidate, the more votes they get.

Mike Castle is too classy to actually be in this zombie parade in my
view. He lost to an absolutely unqualified tax evader and corrupt
theocrat who couldn't be able to talk to Delaware business leaders
unless she writes talking points in her palm of her hand like the
Mistress of Quit, Sarah Palin.

Castle will have the last laugh when O'Donnell loses badly. His story
isn't over yet. If anything, O'Donnell could win but would be recalled
within 6 months due to criminal charges filed against her and/or her
embarrassing failure to serve as a Senator.

As for Palin, one of the people I work with/for works with the RNC and
they are certainly never going to allow her to be the nominee... at
least as a Republican.

O'Donnell victory could hurt the Republican Party's chances nationally
in the fall elections as her stories and unseemly record gets more
airtime from the media circus. She's a runaway train heading for the
ditch.

But in a way, she has already won since she now has been bankrolled up
to a couple million dollars and can walk away and become the witch she
always wanted to be.

3. Well done. A better and more accurate synoposis than they'd get watching FauxNews.
You were certainly much nicer than I was when I went off on my GOP parents over Katrina and torture.

6. I was gentle
I can't count the many times I wanted to just scream about how brainwashed one gets from the Fixed Noise channel...

5. Speaking of "reality" doesn't go over well with this crowd
But, that's all we have to work with, so good on ya.

This too shall pass, but I am afraid a lot of people will end up suffering—even more than are suffering already.
