Harry Reid needs to bring the Defense Bill up again tomorrow.
Let them have their debate and amendments.

Vote them all down.

Then pass the Bill.

1. There's one thing stopping that.
It's the fact that Harry Reid has no fucking spine!

2. Hold the defense bill and appropriations hostage.

Disallow any amendments to take out the DADT repeal and DREAM Act.

Make it clear.

No DADT repeal, no DREAM Act, means no money for the warpigs.

The Rethugs will eventually cave.

6. I think the Dream Act needs to be added by an amendment
As to DADT - it is in the bill and they don't have 50 votes to take it out - much less 60, if it were filibustered.

9. The problem is Reid has a close election himself.

4. Rachel Maddow said that Reid DID allow them to have their debate and amendments and
then they rejected THAT, too.

7. True - they wanted a promise that the Dream Act not be in the first 20 amendments
It seems they don't want a vote on the Dream Act before the election.

5. And every day until it passes, except the days ...
that he should bring up the extension of tax cuts for the poor and middle class.
