She might as well vote for a Republican. But for all we know the woman is a Republican (wannabe).

1. And that will help HOW?!?!!?
At least keeping Dems in the majority offers some hope for a solution.

We have GOP candidates contending unemployment is unConstitutional.

I really don't understand what these voters are thinking. And if you absolutely feel your conscience demands it, just don't vote. Why do you have to convince others to do the same? Seriously, what do you have to gain?

3. What these 99ers that are advocating this crap don't realize
is that if the Republicans were in control they wouldn't have unemployment benefits beyond the basic if at all.

5. To the average uninformed voter, neither party wants to help them so why should they vote?
The problem lies with the elected Democrats kowtowing to the right wing DLC by not educating voters and spelling out the differences in simple, plain language that people can understand.

If people believe neither party will help them, there really aren't many options left for them.

8. That's precisely the problem-
and when Dems lose elections, this characteristic tends to eclipse other factors.

10. 57 Democratic Senators were voting to end DADT because they don't want to help?
you don't get to say that.

11. If I recall correctly, she said that all that Congress needs to do to get their vote is to
pass a bill that would help them. I forget what particular bill she and her fellow 99ers were talking about.

In essence, Congress has until Oct 31 to win their votes by passing legislation that would help them.
