Seems like a lot of folks want to talk about the "IFs" around here....

Just think, "IF" we don't, we will be "Forced" to unite because the Republicans will have regained power,and will be up to their same ass insanity that will not benefit not even one of us....

not our kids,
not our bank accounts,
not our job prospects,
not education,
not our environment,
not unions,
not women,
not minorities,
not gay folks,
not our health,
not regulations,
not social security,
not any peace effort...
not nada, null set, rien,
on one damn singular issue or thing.

14. I just assume it's people who don't like what I said or don't like me when mine are unrecc'd.

I'm not really concerned with knowing who they are. I've had enough go to the greatest to know I sometimes post something that resonated with a number of people. Other times? Well, the garden still needs watering and I still have dishes in the sink to wash and a sick husband to try to care for.

This just isn't that big a deal. Besides, mentioning it just gives them the satisfaction of knowing they bothered you. I prefer not to do that.

HOWEVER

Being able to trace back those who un-recommend something takes the privacy and freedom of expression away from DU.

Personally, I agree that there are Republican Moles on this website.

There's also a lot of pissed of Democrats, pissed off Liberals, and pissed off Progressives. And pissed off people just don't like to get along.

And my guess would be, probably because they're pissed all the time.

We need to find a way to finesse some of these moles out of the woodwork, without taking away the privacy of DU members.

These Republican moles are here to sow the seeds of doubt. They only may need about three or four to plant enough anger and hatred that the rest of the people on this site follow suit without even realizing it.

First plan of action - We must stop the circling firing squad.

When divisive rhetoric from both sides is being slung. Anger and hatred is only going to beget more anger and hatred.

We have common ground. We just have to find a way to see that again. I don't know how we can show everyone what is at stake, but people are tired of being motivated through fear, anger, and intimidation.
