..... because this agreement would get 60 votes.

The only Dem who had been previously opposed to the PO who was NOT in this meeting is Lieberman (surprise! surprise!) ..... and maybe Bayh, but I think Bayh said "oh, I dont care what you all do, I'm for it!" and skipped town for the holidays.

(Snowe is reported to be open to the idea of a medicare buy in.)
