The President of the United States will be making a stop in Albuquerque’s South Valley Tuesday.
He’ll arrive the night before spending some time visiting with veteran Andrew Cavalier at his South Valley homes backyard.
The normally quiet south valley neighborhood is buzzing with anticipation.
"It's pretty amazing - probably a once in a lifetime thing," said neighbor, Kerry Murphy.
"He is a Vietnam vet, he's been living here in the south valley for several years and it's nice to be a neighbor with him," Murphy added.
Murphy feels privileged to be one of the few invited to attend this private backyard meeting.
It's the last of 3 stops for the President who has been making stops around the country listening to the concerns and frustrations of average Americans.
"There's a lot of questions that need to be asked and a lot of questions to be answered," Murphy says.
Murphy has prepared several questions he plans to ask the President directly.
"I want to know what's on most people's minds - our economy," said Murphy.
Murphy says he's hopes Mr. Obama gets a chance to have a taste of New Mexico -- perhaps even sampling one of his homegrown chiles.
"Just to be able to sit there and listen to what he has to say kind of in a small and intimate group is real awesome," said Murphy.
