Primary War Reruns -
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=433x45333

Seriously, why has the tone of DU gotten so nasty towards each other lately? Not just that thread in the least bit - that one just struck me because I'd dozed off on the couch, then woke up and reading that, thought I was dreaming and it was still 2008

2. Because about 10 perecent of the people on both sides never let the primaries go to begin with.
Unfortunately, they are the ones that like to post plenty and often. So between the "I TOLD YOU SO NYAH NYAH NYAH NYAH NYAH NYAH!" and the "FUCK YOU, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN WORSE!" posts, it gets ugly.

3. Poor impulse control.......

The age-old advise to "think before you speak" needs to be updated, eh?

4. As I said in that thread:
"The primary is over. Hillary is a major member of the cabinet.

Some folks need to just accept it and move on."

To be clear, however, I think the person who raised that issue was trying to hi-jack and disrupt the discussion there.

Opening old wounds is one way to provoke a flame-war and get a thread locked.

5. It was just interesting to see all the Obama this, Hilary that, Dennis blah blah
all in one thread again. I started scrolling looking for a John Edwards posting
