9. A choice between the CEO of Goldman Sachs and the slob. |
|
Jon Corzine had not endeared himself at all to the voters in NJ.

3. He had support from Democrats who didn't like the previous Democratic Governor, who |
|
was supposed to be very poor on the economy, so many did not vote. Christy won on the standard "More jobs, less government, low taxes" GOP bullshit. He is in the process of ruining the state, and he should serve as a goad to every Democrat to vote in November.
Christy is a fucking pig in every sense, and the republicans are all as bad as him or worse.

4. I got his back, too! Sadly my father who lives in Jersey, a smart man, is |
|
beginning to buy into this claptrap about Jersey teachers being paid too much and the unions having too much control. I can't believe it. He calls himself a liberal Democrat. But as he has gotten older--65 years old this year--he is becoming more conservative, buying into the conservative mantra that most people receiving unemployment or government assistance are shiftless and lazy and just want a government handout. We argued back and forth, and he just didn't get it. Then, he tells me that he watches Faux and "Morning Hoe" and now I understand where the rhetoric is coming from. It's very sad. A very brilliant man listening to very stupid, hateful people.

10. They got my mom like that ... |
|
A lifelong democrat - real JFK lover ...
Started on cable news with CNN in the late 80s, then as she got into her 60s (and with a fair amount of alzheimers setting in) she found her way to Faux ... I remember knowing she was lost when we were talking over lunch and she started up about how embarrassed she was about Howard Dean (the scream hit job) ... Never would she have bought a line of crape like that, but with her losing her mind and having Faux wired to her head ...
The sad, but good news ... She has stopped voting ... But, it is the prototype of how they get the older voters ...

is a toxic stain on the political landscape. Some say after he uses the toilet he hangs a towel over the door knob and backs into it, kind of like what he's doing to the working class for the benefit of his wealthy donors.
