Major misconception about the lack of Democratic support |
|
I find that the attempt of the M$M and the evil work of Faux news to show that the support for Repukes is up, while support for Democrats is down, to be utterly false.
First, it is rather funny that if there was so much discontent for Obama and the Democrats, then I should get some shit every time I wear my Obama shirt in public; but I never do. What I get are complements on it and never anything negative.
Secondly, I have bumper stickers on my car to show my support for two Democrats here in Indiana; Ellsworth and Van Haaften. I never hear a damn word from the 'angry' folks at the M$M keeps on yacking about.
Finally, I recently went door to door for the previously mentioned Democrats and no one ran me off their porch. One lady said she was so pissed about how people were treating Obama (mainly those who think Obama was suppose to be a magician and magically fix shit instantly), and she was not going to even vote. I told her the worst thing she could do was not vote, and that I think she should go vote and then when she does to just close her eyes and do a straight Dem ticket. Prior to talking with that lady, I walked past a group of 10 people who were sitting outside in a semicircle. One them asked what I was doing and I told them I was knocking on doors for Democrats; every single one of those people nodded in agreement indicating that they were voting Democrat.
Another women asked me "which one cares about the poor people?" and I of course said "the Democrats, republicans are the ones that want to drastically reduce social services with the ultimate goal of eliminating them." She said "Ok, thank you." Then she turned to the younger girl on that was sitting with her and told her "well we know who to vote for now."
So I think the support for Democrats is really there and it is stronger than we are lead to believe. It will also help if people would go to their local Democratic GOTV location and volunteer to make some calls or knock on some doors.
