Emanuel Has a Campaign Team Ready

Unless Rahm Emanuel "changes his mind at the last minute, which associates say is highly unlikely, he will return to Chicago as early as Sunday to begin to collect signatures necessary to put his name on the ballot next Monday," Marc Ambinder reports.

"A campaign manager has been hired together a plan to get Emanuel on the ballot, and Emanuel has secured private commitments from several Chicago-based political consultants. Several people said they have been contacted by people representing Emanuel but have been asked not to disclose the contacts. Candidates need 12,500 signatures to qualify for the ballot, but in practice, they'll find twice as many."

I was really hoping Obama would go for a less corporate-lover this time around...well, maybe next time. Ah well...at least i wont have to hear Rahm's name anymore. Granted his replacement's record isn't quite clear yet so far what i've read he definitely is similar to Rahm in that he adores Wall Street.

Poor Dean...a true fighter for the people is once again shunned by the White House.

At least Progressives have at least one real democrat in the Administration named Elizabeth Warren....here is hoping she gets the nomination after November seeing as how it is too early and she could just be being used to excite the base for electon and nothing more.

4. His departure is a done deal. On the bright side, his internal polling for mayor of Chicago is ....
overly optimistic. There's stronger local Democrats in the field with closer ties to Chicago.
