1. R.I.P. $115 million ... oh how you could have saved a starving country so easily... |
|
instead of being burned away in a political campaign that ended long before the elections.

2. Whitman is truly delusional. |
|
Spending $119MM to run TV ads that glorified her while dragging opponents through the dirt, ads that she could throw out there without having to face questions over them. When questioned, she runs away or says "we're moving on from this question," as if she's the one who gets to decide when it's time to drop the subject.
$119MM on an echo chamber to convince herself that she was qualified to be Governor of CA. And here she is but a week into the campaign and finally out in the open, making comments that Fresno is worse than Detroit, that CA needs to be more like TX, and showing her hypocrisy in being anti-illegal immigrants while employing one for 9 years, not to mention looking programmed, stiff and scripted in the debate she lost to Jerry Brown.
What a loser!
BTW - if Whitman fired her housekeeper when she found out she was an illegal, why didn't she turn her in to the authorities? That's what she's advocating employers do when they find out that illegals are working for them. Even if Whitman didn't know she was an illegal, and even if she fired her upon learning so, she didn't call the authorities.
Idiot.

8. I doubt that could work in any state - even with any comparison state |
|
I mean "NJ needs to more like NY" would not win points, much less "NJ needs to be more like TX". Given where TX rates on lots of things, I can't imagine why she would chose TX.

7. Hey, maybe it helped the CA economy |
|
(and possibly the economy elsewhere if the ads weren't done in CA).

3. Brown must have the goods too... |
|
I was worried that he spoke out too soon on this, that perhaps Gloria A. couldn't produce, or that NutMeg Whitless would throw some money in the right direction and make it all go away.
