2. I like her as Speaker a lot |
|
she did a great job rounding up the votes, most everything has been passed in the House in spite of the Blue Dogs. Then of course she had to deal with the White House and the Senate which stopped legislation in their tracks.

just look at all the progressive legislation she's got passed.
Surely she's one of the most effective speakers in history.
Reid, in comparison, has been weak and feckless, imo.

11. She is GREAT! Anyone who provokes so much rage among the GOPers |
|
is really doing something right, and they HATE her. They will hate her even more if we can get the votes together to win in November....just when they were measuring her office for new curtains for "Speaker Boehner", too...

22. Not to nitpick, but this argument makes my skin crawl |
|
because it's exactly the same one the right-wing uses to justify Sarah Palin's existence.
Nancy's a good leader because she does a wonderful job of corralling the House Democrats and making sure that the legislation that gets through the House is worth a damn, not because wingnuts fly into a frothing rage at the mere mention of her (although that is a nice plus).

19. She must be quite good or the republicans would not be running all their ads against her. |
|
In PA, nearly every negative ad against a Democrat refers to her. So she is effective in pissing ofg the repigs and that is great in my judgment.
