First lady Michelle Obama will become the latest high-profile Democrat to campaign for Richard Blumenthal, the state attorney general who is in a competitive race for Connecticut's Senate seat.

Blumenthal's campaign announced Wednesday that the first lady will appear at an event with Blumenthal on Oct. 18. Details of the appearance have not yet been released.

President Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton have already appeared at events to rally supporters and to raise campaign funds.

Ted Kennedy Jr., the son of the late Massachusetts senator, was to appear at a rally on Wednesday with Blumenthal in New Haven.

1. I think he's fine, but it's good not to take anything for granted, but lets give some time now to
Sestak in PA.

2. Wonderful! Having Michelle go out for Dick will overshadow
that witch McMahon. She will look so BAD up against beautiful, smart Michelle...couldn't be better that she's doing this!

4. I would rather see her go for someone who needs it.

5. She probably will...Dick is a worthwhile project, tho. He's ahead and needs to stay there.
I think he'll make it but it's close...I think the WH wants to close the deal with their big guns...
