2. Because she's not the president, she holds no elected office, and she should be able |
|
to stump for exactly who she wants to and no one else. Yes she knew what she was getting into when her husband ran for office, but I do not believe you or anyone else should be putting any type of activity onus upon her.

3. Ah... so you think African Americans would need a black woman campaigning? |
|
Ahhh... I see, you want them to vote for a white person, right?
Ummm... huh.

4. No, but in a case where two white candidates are running and one is clearly better qualified, |
|
don't you think her voice and her persona in the campaign might help?
It's hard to get people up for voting in the mid term. It's important that we get everyone out to vote!

5. That really has nothing to do with my question... |
|
I'm wondering why the OP felt it necessary to indicate African Americans.

6. OK, but it's fine with me that she campaigns among all citizens of CT! |
|
I just love it, and I think she'll reach beyond racial bounds in her campaigning...I know that at least in New Haven, she would have a great appeal (not that she'll campaign here...we're pretty liberal!). But what she can get, she should get...and I think lots of non-black voters will respond to her...esp. moms of kids her kids age (like my daughter!).

10. Do First Ladies usually help in campaigning? |
|
I don't remember Pickles doing any. Or even Hillary.
I may be wrong.
